Name: Paulina Misior
Just Cherry is a 7 years old, 16.3hh, chestnut Dutch Warmblood and Holsteiner cross. I got her about a year ago (Last days of November), but we first met in September 2016. Cherry is a lovely mare, however, she definitely picks her rider, meaning not everyone can ride her. She is a very special horse, sometimes she enjoys bucking and rearing, The thing I love about her is that she jumps everything and is never afraid of anything!
El-Vis is a 15 years old, 15.0hh, gelding. He was the first horse I was able to compete regularly.
Emma is 9 years old, 13.3hh, mare. We worked together for a few months. She is a very brave pony with a big heart!
El-Vis and Emma are now teaching younger riders, they are good teachers! I don't own them, however, I ride them from time to time, just for fun!
DISCIPLINES YOU COMPETE? The only discipline I compete in is show jumping. I really enjoy jumping and the adrenaline! Before I got Cherry, I was a bit afraid of high jumps, but Cherry showed me that there is nothing to be afraid of!
WHEN DID YOU FIRST BECOME INTERESTED IN HORSE RIDING AND WHY? When I was little my grandfather had horses, I think that it was love at the first sight! When I was 5 or 6, my mom decided to take me to a local stable. I was riding once a week. 6 years later I changed stables and started competing.
WHAT IS YOUR GREATEST ACHIEVEMENT TO DATE? My biggest achievement is definitely winning the 1.10m Regional League with El-Vis last year. With Cherry, it was not only the bronze medal during Regional Championships, but also coming 2nd in our first ever 1.20m class, in June this year and placing 1st, 2nd and 3rd in our first indor competitions (up to 1.25) in October!
WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO ACHIEVE IN 2017/2018? I dream of taking part in "Cavaliada" International Tour during February 2018. I also wish to ride 8 clear rounds (only 2 left!) in 1.20m and 1.25m, in order to get my „2nd licence”. With it I will be able to progress to higher classes.
WHICH OF THE LIKIT TOYS AND TREATS ARE YOUR FAVOURITE AND WHY? I do not know, there are too many to pick! Probably Treat Bars (especially banana and cherry flavour), because they can be easily split into pieces and can be put in my pocket. Mint and eucalyptus Likit Snaks are also good to take with you on training (I try to reward Cherry after training as she is young and needs motivation. So the best motivation for her is food!). I also love Boredom Buster! It keeps Cherry entertained when she is in her stall.
FINALLY, IF YOU COULD SPEND THE DAY WITH ANY PROFESSIONAL EQUESTRIAN WHO WOULD IT BE AND WHY? I think that Ludger Beerbaum is my inspiration, he is such a good rider, with a lot of experience. I wish to be as talented as he is. I would love to meet him... I really like the way he rides, he is sensitive when riding a horse, but also consequent. I have no doubt that he is one of the best showjumpers ever!
