Welcome back to my blog! I hope everyone had a great Christmas and a Happy New Year. Murphy definitely enjoyed his Christmas dinner- which consisted mainly of Likits of course! December was a quiet month for us due to the weather unfortunately cancelling a lot of our outings. This month we went to a showjumping clinic (inspired by Olympia!), which was very useful. We focused on using the whole arena (especially the corners!) and keeping up the impulsion all the way to the jump.Unfortunately, the weather did seem to get the better of us, cancelling the rest of our planned clinics and events due to snow and ice. I was also very disappointed to discover the morning of the Dengie Qualifiers at Bury Farm, that Murphy had lost a shoe, meaning we couldn’t compete. Gutting L.However this month wasn’t all bad! Because of heavy snow, I had a day off school, which was spent at the yard playing in the snow with Murphy and filming a snow day vlog- which you can watch here. When the ground wasn’t frozen, we enjoyed hacking with friends and Murphy had some well-earned rest. I tried to make the most of the bad weather and practised clipping Murphy a few times…I’m improving! I especially enjoyed going to Olympia, which never fails to get you in the Christmas spirit!Harriet & Murphy
